Vaccination Events Continue at Cook County Community Center and North Shore Health this Week

There will be vaccination events at the Cook County Community Center and North Shore Health on Thursday. The Community Center event will use the Moderna vaccine and will offer both first and second doses. The North Shore Health event will use the Pfizer vaccine and will offer second doses only. Combined, these events will offer a total of 50 first doses and 300 second doses throughout the county.  

Registration for first dose appointments is available via the Cook County Coronavirus Response Hub at  To complete the online registration, individuals will need to provide:

  • name, address, phone number and date of birth 
  • a valid email address

All individuals are automatically registered for their second dose appointment when receiving their first dose. Assistance is available for those who do not have internet access or need additional help signing up for an appointment. Call 218-877-8273 or email [email protected] for support. Registration is required for these and all future vaccine events.  

Registration is also open for first-dose appointments at the April 29 event at the Community Center, which will use the Moderna vaccine. 

According to the Minnesota Department of Health COVID-19 vaccine dashboard, a total of 3,545 people have received their first dose of vaccine, or 76% of the Cook County population.
2,721 have completed the vaccine series, or 58% of the Cook County population.
